Common questions,
long answers.
Everything buyers typically ask before signing up — disclaimers, location, vial sizes, storage, CoA, batch numbers, shipping, address edits, refunds and returns.
01Why are there research-use-only disclaimers everywhere?
Every product on Pepteed is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and authorized professional use. They are not classified as medicinal products and are not intended for human consumption, cosmetics, food additives, or any unapproved application. We reserve the right to cancel orders we believe may be used outside that scope.
02Where is Pepteed located?
Our release and dispatch facility is in the United States. All orders are packed and shipped domestically — we currently serve the U.S. market only and do not ship internationally.
03What is a research-supply company?
Pepteed is a research-supply company. Our products are sold strictly for laboratory research purposes — not for clinical use, not for treatment, not for direct human or animal administration outside a licensed clinical context.
04What size vials do your peptides come in?
Most peptides are packaged in 3 ml borosilicate glass vials with 20 mm crimp seal. NAD+ and certain bulk SKUs ship in 10 ml vials. Each label carries the molecule name, lot number, fill weight and storage instructions.
05How do I store lyophilised peptides?
Lyophilised peptides should be stored refrigerated (2–8 °C) or, for long-term storage, in a –20 °C freezer. Properly stored, they remain stable for several years. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
06How do I store reconstituted peptides?
Once reconstituted, peptides should be kept refrigerated (2–8 °C) and used within the timeframe stated on the product page (typically 14–28 days, peptide-dependent). Some peptides allow short-term –20 °C storage post-reconstitution; the CoA notes which.
07How do I store bacteriostatic water?
Store bacteriostatic water in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It should not be refrigerated or frozen. Once opened, observe the manufacturer's stated post-opening shelf life.
08What is the best temperature for my products when running an experiment?
Both peptides and bacteriostatic water should be brought to room temperature before use, then immediately returned to their storage condition. Avoid prolonged exposure to ambient temperature.
09What are research peptides used for?
Peptides are commonly used in biochemical, molecular biology and pre-clinical research — protein-purification studies, ligand-receptor binding assays, modification chemistry, structural studies, antibody development, and reference standards.
10Is there a certificate of analysis (CoA) for my peptide?
Yes. Every peptide ships with a lot-specific CoA — sequence verification, mass-spec ID, HPLC purity, and where applicable endotoxin and water-content data. CoAs are also accessible from each product page under the lot number printed on the vial label.
11Are your products laboratory tested?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested for identity and purity by accredited third-party laboratories. If a batch fails our release criteria it is destroyed; if a batch fails post-release re-test, every recipient is notified and the product is replaced at our cost.
12Do you print batch numbers on your vials?
Yes. Every vial carries a lot number printed on the label. The number maps one-to-one to the CoA, HPLC trace and mass-spec data archived for that batch.
13What shipping carriers do you work with?
Most U.S. orders ship with FedEx. UPS is used where FedEx coverage is limited. All shipments are tracked end-to-end and require a signature on delivery for orders above $250.
14What are your shipping options and timeframes?
Continental U.S.: free FedEx 2-day on orders above $100. Below that threshold, flat $15 shipping. Alaska and Hawaii ship FedEx 3-day at a flat $25 regardless of order value. Temperature-controlled cold-chain packaging is included for peptides that require it, at no extra cost.
15What days do you ship?
Orders are packed and dispatched Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders confirmed before 2 PM ET ship the same business day; anything received after that cutoff goes out on the next business day.
16Is your shipping discreet?
Yes. Packages ship in plain FedEx or UPS packaging with no Pepteed branding on the outer label. The return address reads as a generic shipping handler — no indication of contents.
17My package says delivered but I have not received it.
Most carrier-marked deliveries that are missing turn up within 24 hours. Contact the local carrier facility, file a missing-package claim, then forward the claim reference to support@pepteed.com and we will coordinate a reshipment.
18I entered the wrong shipping address — what should I do?
Email support@pepteed.com with the corrected address before the order has left our facility. Once the shipment is in the carrier's hands we cannot change the destination; you will need to redirect with the carrier directly.
19I forgot to add my discount code — can my order be adjusted?
Reach out within 30 minutes of placing the order. As a one-time courtesy we will apply the missed code as store credit toward a future order; we cannot refund the difference to the original payment method.
20I missed a sale — can the sale price be honoured?
Pepteed runs structured releases each month. Sale prices apply during the advertised period only. Subscribe to the release newsletter to be notified ahead of each window.
21Do you offer bulk-purchase discounts?
We do not offer open bulk discounts — they create resale incentive, which we do not allow. Verified labs running multi-vial studies can request a single-lot reservation quote via the lab account dashboard.
22I received the wrong item.
Email support@pepteed.com with your order number and a photo of the vial label within 7 days of delivery. The correct item ships the same or next business day at no cost; the incorrect item does not need to be returned.
23What is your refund policy?
Orders not yet shipped: full refund on request to the original payment method. Orders already shipped or delivered: no monetary refund, but damaged-in-transit items are replaced at our cost on receipt of a photo.
24Do you accept returns or exchanges?
All sales are final once the package leaves our facility — peptides are temperature-sensitive and we cannot accept them back into stock. Damaged or incorrect items are replaced free of charge with photographic confirmation.
Email support@pepteed.com — our research team responds within one business day.
